I went from a 90Hz Pixel 4 to a 60Hz XS Max. I got used to it after a few days. But what was more perplexing was that despite the Pixel 4 having a 90Hz display, it still didn’t feel quite as smooth as the iPhone. Because of the animations. They are just so much better on iPhone than on Android.
Especially for the price, we’d appreciate slightly faster charging. You may also consider the iPhone 13 Pro (non-Max), which sports similar underpinnings, but comes with a smaller 6.1-inch screen instead of the Max’s 6.7-inch display. Ultimately, the well-equipped iPhone 13 Pro Max is hands-down the best unlocked iOS device available.
