Using the 80 boost before leveling to 80 is best for people who find leveling and Central Tyria in general boring. If you're new to the game and want to spend time in Central Tyria exploring and seeing the sights, then you probably shouldn't 80 boost a character you're planning to play immediately. A lot of people will say you should level to

80 boost will unlock all core specialization.
