At the present time, old SA Vz.58 rifles in Czech military service are being replaced by CZ Bren II assault rifles. The SA Vz.58 assault rifle strongly resembles externally the famous Kalashnikov AK-47 assault rifle, but internally it is entirely different and of original and well-thought out design. The AK’s aftermarket products are a type of garbage. If you’re not happy with the lack of aftermarket modifications for the Vz-58, go for a pink look. As an alternative to the AK platform, this is a low-cost and readily available firearm. VZ Series Rifles Farmboy, I have a VZ-58-L. Purchased it from Marstar. I have only shot handloads through it, but I'am impressed on how well it treats the brass. Much better than a SKS or AK . No dents, or bulges.It feeds soft point hunting reloads( both Speer and Hornady) with no problems. Installed a poly-carbonate fore guard and Eotech sights.
